2026 Amazon.com holiday return window (announced)
According to Amazon’s Seller Central / Seller News notice for the 2026 season (widely republished from the Oct 2026 seller announcement):
- Purchase window: November 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026
- Most eligible items: returnable through January 31, 2027
- Apple-branded products: returnable through January 15, 2027
- Amazon stated the extended window applies automatically for items sold on Amazon.com whether fulfilled by Amazon (FBA) or by the seller (FBM), and that existing return/refund conditions still apply
- Amazon also stated this holiday extension policy is intended to apply every year going forward — still confirm each season on official pages
Standard Amazon windows (when the holiday extension does not apply)
Amazon’s customer return help page states that most items can be returned within 30 days of delivery in original or unused condition, with category exceptions such as:
- 15 days — Apple brand products (and some other listed categories) sold new, outside the holiday rules
- Shorter or longer windows for digital content, registries, Renewed condition types, Haul items, and other exceptions listed on Amazon’s return policy page
